Confession of contact with the occult

Saved By Grace

If you have had any contact with the occult rather out of curiosity, or willingly, you need to confess it and renounce it before Christ. Confession cleanses us and separates us from the sin.

Heavenly Father, I confess to You, that in the past, through ignorance, curiosity, or willfulness, I have come into contact with certain occult things of the devil. I now recognize and confess these as sin and claim forgiveness now in the name of Jesus. Specifically I do confess as sin and renounce all contacts which I have had with the following occult things – name all that come to mind (ie.. Ouija boards, tarot, witchcraft, wicca, mediums, horoscopes, contacting the dead, dungeons and dragons, channeling spirits, Freemason, astrology, astral projection, Halloween, fraternities, etc.) I renounce and confess as sin any false oaths which I have made to any false god and any idolatry in which I have been involved.

After you have prayed this prayer and renounced any involvement in with the occult give God the praise for your liberty. Keep your freedom by not coming into contact with the occult ever again, pleading the Blood of Jesus several times daily, seeking God’s will for your life and carrying it out!

Confession of Forgiveness before deliverance!

Father I confess that in the past I have held unforgiveness, sometimes bitterness in my heart against people who have hurt or disappointed me.

I now recognize this as a sin and confess it as sin, for You have said in Your Word that if I confess my sin, You are faithful and just to forgive my sins and to cleanse me of all unrighteousness.

I do now forgive the following people whom I can remember, who have hurt or disappointed me, (This is the time to release whoever you have held bitterness in your heart toward, and ask Holy Spirit to cover the root of unforgiveness/bitterness with the Blood of Jesus) I now freely forgive all these people and ask You to bless them now. I also forgive myself for all my many faults and failures for You have freely forgiven me.

Thank You, Father, for freedom from the load of unforgiveness, bitterness and resentment. In the name of the Lord Jesus I pray amen.
